WORLD OF WARCRAFT: LEGION

World of Warcraft: Legion is the sixth expansion set in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, following Warlords of Draenor.

After the heroes of Azeroth defeated Archimonde in Warlords of Draenor, Gul’dan is pushed through a fel portal to Azeroth in order to open a way for the Burning Legion to begin the largest invasion in history. While exploring the previously hidden vaults of the Broken Isles, Gul’dan finds a dark crystalline prison containing the corpse of Illidan Stormrage, the former Lord of Outland and leader of the Demon Hunters, who was slain during the final raid of Black Temple in the previous expansion, Burning Crusade.

The new expansion allows heroes to level up to 110 in the Broken Isles, a new zone located just off the breaches of the Maelstrom. Initially there are 10 playable 5-man dungeons and patch 7.1 will add another dungeon, good old Karazhan. There are three massive raids planned for Legion, with The Emerald Nightmare raid that opened three weeks after release, a small upcoming Stormheim-related raid in patch 7.1, The Nighthold raid in patch 7.2 where we will finally meet Gul’dan and the final raid in a patch coming later in the expansion. After the Emerald Nightmare was opened, Mythic+ Dungeons and Legion’s first player versus player (PvP) season began.

The expansion was released on 30 August 2016 and will be available at the expo.G
